How OklaHomes Realty, Inc. Started
Forward Thinking Why are we now known as OklaHomes Realty, Inc. As a major force in the Northeast Oklahoma real estate market for the past ten years, Managing Broker Allen Stout, described the change as a very positive marketing move designed to project a unified image to the public. "Our website has been Oklahomes.com for several years now and since the world wide web is becoming more and more of a serious business tool, we felt it was time to make the change." Mr. Stout further reports that a number of recent sales for his firm have been initiated through the internet and he and his team felt it was time to close the connection between the website and the physical presence. "We hated to change the name from 'First Team' which has served us so well and described so perfectly the way our organization actually operates. We feel so strongly about the 'first team' concept that we've kept it as part of our tag line - Your first team in Oklahoma real estate" he says. Mr. Stout also reports that the need to project a regional presence was a factor in the change. "We will be serving a wider market in the near future with agents in Claremore, Grove, and Tulsa" he says. "We want our customers to recognize that they are dealing with a local company, not a big impersonal chain, yet we need to project an image that reflects the reality of a growing, expanding regional business. It's important to take advantage of the current strength in real estate markets to further our expansion plans." New Location Here is an excerpt from a recent article published in the Claremore Daily Progress: 'Allen Stout is back where he started. That could sound like a negative but for Stout, owner/broker of OklaHomes, it's a positive. "You could say I've come full circle," Stout said, looking around at the building he worked in 20 years ago as a beginning sales associate with Claremore Real Estate. "It looked a little different back then." The newly remodeled office complex now offers individual and team office space, a meeting room, conference room, handicap accessible restrooms and an "Internet Cafe" for clients to view online listings. With positive trends in today's home sales market, Stout said he believes OklaHomes, as in the past, is in the right place at the right time. The new office complex is less than a mile from the future site of the State Highway 20 and 66 bypass interchange and the most southern edge of Claremore city limits. In Summary
